Lead Designer – Katie Acampora
Katie, originally from Colorado, lives in North County with her family. She is a cartoonist at heart and started her designing career at the fresh young age of 8. That year she won the poster contest for the school play of “The Princess and the Pea.” That same year she won an award for her poster on recycling. Her career has continued to go onward from there. She is not only a cartoonist but also is versed in most facets of graphic design layout, and website design.
She doesn’t get to enter many poster contests these days but continually stays active on the volunteer home front designing t-shirts, logos and patches for both the local boy scout groups and members of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 5k walk in San Diego.
She has always wanted to do the job that she is lucky enough to do at Drawing a Crowd. Her enthusiasm definitely shows through in all of the work she does through her dedication and attention to detail. |
